Monica Tesler writes smart, speculative fiction for all ages. She lives outside of Boston with her family. Her first books were written on the commuter boat on the way to her job as an attorney. Now, she typically writes at the kitchen counter while her puppy snoozes by her side.

Bounders, her five-book, middle grade science fiction adventure series from Simon & Schuster, follows the first class of cadets at the EarthBound Academy for Quantum Space Travel, a group of neurodivergent kids who always felt different but never knew they held the key to saving the galaxy.
